About
Arne Hiddingh (1984) is known for his (hyper) realistic paintings. His work is based on places or persons that integrate him.
Arne began in 2012 with painting and without following any artistic lessons / workshops he already has hand over some paintings to national and international celebrities such as Pusha T, Talib Kweli, Benny the Butcher, Conway the Machine & The Alchemist.
His works are based on photographs. Arne strives to create an exact resemblance to the (in many cases famous) portrayed. “Every face is unique and it is always a challenge to paint someone exactly as he or she is.” Then a good photograph is an essential tool. “
Besides the many portraits that Arne has added to his collection, he also creates colourful landscapes (urban landscapes). With his colourful landscapes he shows contemporary street scenes and town scenes that integrate him. He always chooses images of places that he has been or where he likes to go to. With his colour and angle impetration every painting gets his own Arne Hiddingh expression.
